Set Up Venues and Courts
Overview
The GoTab Configuration page is where you connect a GoTab location to one of your venues and map GoTab's ordering structure onto your courts. GoTab organizes a location into zones (service areas) and spots (individual ordering points, like tables). You decide which pod each zone serves and which court each spot maps to — that is how the system knows where a Customer is ordering from.
To open the page, click GoTab under the Settings section of the Dashboard sidebar. The page appears once the integration is enabled and is available to Managers and above.

At the top of the page:
The venue dropdown switches between your venues (grouped by region)
The Default tip button shows the tip percentage used at this venue
A green pill shows how many spots are mapped (for example, 6 of 8 spots mapped)
An amber pill appears when something needs attention (for example, a zone without a pod)
Connect a GoTab Location
Select the venue in the venue dropdown
Click the Connect new location button
Paste the location UUID from GoTab — you can find it in GoTab under Settings → Locations
Click Connect
[SCREENSHOT NEEDED: "Connect a GoTab location" modal with the UUID field filled in]
Connecting a location pulls in its zones and spots so you can map them to your pods and courts. If the UUID isn't recognized, double-check the value in GoTab. If the location is already connected to another venue, disconnect it there first.
Assign Zones to Pods
Each zone should serve one pod. Zones and spots come from GoTab — you can't rename or create them here, you only choose what they serve.
Click a zone in the Zones list on the left
In the Serves pod dropdown, select the pod this zone serves
[SCREENSHOT NEEDED: Zone details with the Serves pod dropdown open]
PLEASE NOTE: Reassigning a zone to a different pod clears the court mappings tied to the old assignment, and assigning a pod that another zone was serving detaches that other zone. A confirmation window explains exactly what will change before you commit.
Pickup Zones
If a zone is a collection counter rather than table service, turn on its Pickup switch. Customers collect their orders from a pickup zone's spots, so a pickup zone serves no pod and its spots aren't mapped to courts.
Map Spots to Courts
With a pod assigned, map each of the zone's spots to a court:
In the spot table, use the Assign a court dropdown next to each spot
Each court can hold only one spot — reassigning a spot to a court that's already taken frees the previous mapping
When spot names look like your court names, an AUTO-MATCH suggestion appears — click Apply to accept all suggestions at once, or Dismiss to map them yourself.

Changes on this page save instantly — there is no Save button.
Watch the Health Indicators
The amber needs attention pill counts zones that still need a pod or spots that still need a court
A Not reachable section at the bottom of the zone list flags pods that no zone serves — Customers playing there can't order until a zone is assigned
Set a Venue-Specific Default Tip
Click the Default tip button (pencil icon) at the top of the page
In the GoTab Tip Settings window, enter a Default tip % and click Save
Click Reset to remove the venue override and inherit the company-wide default again
Keep GoTab in Sync
Menus, zones, and spots refresh automatically in the background on a regular schedule. If you just changed your menu or layout in GoTab and want it reflected right away:
Find the location card at the top of the zone list — it shows when it last synced (for example, Synced 12m ago)
Click Re-sync — the refresh runs in the background and completes shortly
Items removed in GoTab are automatically marked unavailable for Customers; nothing needs to be cleaned up by hand.
Disconnect a Location
On the location card, click Unlink
Confirm the disconnection
PLEASE NOTE: Disconnecting clears the location's zone-to-pod assignments, pickup zones, and court mappings, and its menu stops being available to Customers. You can reconnect the location later, but the mappings will need to be set up again.
