# Generate QR Codes

QR codes are a great way to help your customers navigate your site with a simple scan. A QR code is linked to a URL and when a person scans a QR code with their phone’s camera, they can navigate to the URL with little to zero friction. You can create QR codes for various purposes:

* Funnel more Customers to your Club’s software
* Promote Events
* Advertise coupons and discounts

To track QR code engagement, there is a paid [**QR code generator**](https://www.qr-code-generator.com/) that offers analytics for how many potential Customers or realized Customers are scanning the QR code. This QR code could be used to leverage the engagement a Club is receiving in a certain area or can be used to AB test different marketing campaigns

{% hint style="warning" %}
PodPlay and PingPod are not affiliated with the QR code generator. The Club may purchase these additional software tools at its discretion.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.podplay.app/marketing/link-from-the-app/generate-qr-codes.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
