Adjust Presale End Date

Overview

When an Admin changes a Membership's Pre-sales End Date in the Dashboard, the system can recalculate the Next Charge Date for every Customer already subscribed. Existing subscribers stay aligned with the new Presale timeline, and no one edits Customers one at a time. This matters most when a Club's opening date moves, because every Presale Customer's billing hangs off that date.

How the prompt works

Edit a Membership that has active subscribers, change the Presales End Date, then click Update. A confirmation dialog titled Presales End Date Changed appears with two options:

  • Adjust Subscriptions recalculates the Next Charge Date for all active subscribers based on the new Presales End Date.

  • No Change updates the Presales End Date on the Membership and leaves every existing subscriber's charge date as it is.

The dialog only appears when the Membership has active subscribers. With no subscribers yet, the Pre-sales End Date updates without a prompt.

Adjusting grant dates for monthly subscribers

The dialog includes a checkbox, Also adjust grant dates for monthly subscriptions, enabled by default. When it is checked, the system also updates the Next Grant Date, meaning when Membership benefits renew, for monthly subscribers. Uncheck it to move charge dates without changing when benefits are granted.

This option applies to monthly subscriptions only. Yearly and other subscription types are not affected.

Grant dates respect the Membership's Grant Days Before Presale End setting. A subscriber configured for an early first grant gets a recalculated grant date on the same offset.

Before changing the date

Coordinate with your Onboarding Lead if the Club's open date is adjusting to another date. The charge date, the grant date, and the marketing already sent to Customers all reference the same timeline, and moving one without the others produces Customer billing questions.
