# Set Reservation Pricing

## Configure Section Pricing and Member Discounts

Use this workflow to manage section pricing for non-members and memberships. You can set court rates, extra player fees, locking fees, and membership discount percentages by rate band.

### Choose Memberships with Custom Discounts

* Navigate to the section settings page
* Open the **Pricing** tab
* In **Member Discounts**, select memberships that should have a different discount than the default member discount

\[]

### Update Band Pricing

* For each band, update:
* **Base court rate**
* **Extra player fee**
* **Max participants**
* **Included guests**
* Use **Advanced settings** for locking fee, coaching discount, and optional flat per-person rate
* Review the preview table to confirm customer-facing totals
* Click **Save**

\[]

### Please Note

* Legacy mismatches may show a warning banner; use **Click to normalize** before saving when prompted
* Pricing updates should preserve schedule-only membership data
* If pricing mode changes (court, spot, hybrid), review all bands before final save

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.podplay.app/owners-playbook/build-your-club/build-a-location/set-reservation-pricing.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
