Choose POS Categories When Creating a Promo Code

Choose Products under What can this Promo Code discount?, then select Categories or subcategories under Which items qualify? to limit which products receive the discount. Categories are available only for product targeting. Select at least one category or subcategory. To discount every eligible product, choose All products instead. After creation, the selected targeting appears in the details and cannot be changed.

Create the Promo Code

1. On the Promo Codes page, click Create Promo Code.
2. Under Applicable to, select POS.
3. Under What can this Promo Code discount?, choose Products.
4. Under Which items qualify?, choose Categories or subcategories.
5. Under POS categories, select the categories or subcategories the code should discount.
6. Complete the other Promo Code details and click Create.

Review an Existing Promo Code

Open Manage Promo Code and read Targeting and Targets in POS Settings. The targeting is read-only after creation. See Choose POS Products for a Promo Code for all targeting methods and the creation-time confirmation when switching methods.
