Low Stock Alerts

Set Low Stock Alert on a product offering to spot low inventory in the Shop and email the location contact when stock first reaches or falls below the threshold.

The Offerings table shows Low Stock in orange when stock is positive and at or below the threshold. Stock above the threshold shows In Stock. A threshold of 0 disables the warning. An offering that has never received a positive stock increase shows a dash at 0 or below; after any positive stock increase, 0 or below shows Out of Stock in red. A purchase that takes a never-stocked offering negative does not count as a stock increase.

An email is sent when a stock change takes the offering from above the threshold to the threshold or below it. Further sales while stock remains at or below the threshold do not send another alert. Restocking above the threshold re-arms the alert. Initial stock setup does not send an email.

The recipient is the email resolved for the offering's area: the area contact takes precedence, followed by its region contact and then the tenant's company email. If no email is configured, the alert is skipped.
