# Watermarks & Ads on Replays

### Overview

PodPlay supports two on-Replay ad surfaces:

1. [**Quick Replays**](https://docs.podplay.app/replays/overview-of-replays/capturing-and-reviewing-replays) — a watermark logo on Quick Replays (applies to [Custom](https://docs.podplay.app/replays/overview-of-replays/capture-a-custom-replay) and [Enhanced](https://docs.podplay.app/replays/overview-of-replays/request-enhanced-replays) Replays)
2. [**Instal Replay**](https://docs.podplay.app/replays/overview-of-replays#instant-replays) **Pre-Roll** — a logo on the Pre-roll and Post-roll before an Instant Replay

To enable any of these, upload them on the CMS page of the Dashboard.

Replays are available to any Club on the Pro or Autonomous(+) Tier. Enhanced Replays require Pro Monitors with the PB Vision integration enabled.

Three more surface areas coming soon are:

* **Unbooked courts** — full-screen slideshows/content playlists with images or video
* **Booked courts** — half court/reservation info, half customizable image/content area
* **Scoreboard** — a logo placement when instant replay isn’t showing

### Quick Replay Watermark

The watermark logo appears at the bottom of every 25-second Quick Replay generated in the App. The logo is permanent: once the Replay is downloaded, texted, or posted to social media, the watermark goes with it. The logo can be placed in the bottom corners of the Quick Replay or in the bottom center.

If you are a pickleball Club, the best positioning for your watermark and ad logo is in the bottom center. This accounts for any Customers cropping the video to upload to social media.

The Quick Replay watermark is environment-wide. Every Quick Replay generated in the App carries the same logo across every Club location.

The CMS feature will eventually support multiple logos.

### Instant Replay Pre-roll and Post-Roll

This Pre-roll and Post-roll has a watermark on the swipescreen.

The Instant Replay watermark logo appears on the 3-second swipe animation that plays on the Scoreboard before the 10-second Instant Replay. The logo is visible during that 3-second swipe, then disappears when the Instant Replay itself begins.

The Instant Replay watermark is location-based. A multi-venue Club can run different watermark logos at different locations. For example, one logo at the New York City Club and a different logo at the Chicago Club. The CMS feature will eventually support multiple logos and video before the Instant Replay.

### Scoreboard Sponsored Ad

The Scoreboard animation that crosses over the points before each Instant Replay can also display a Sponsored Ad at the bottom of the swipe. The animation runs for 3 seconds and is followed by the 10-second Instant Replay.

### Asset types

A Logo is a PNG or JPEG image overlaid on the Replay video, placed at a configurable position on the frame (bottom-right or bottom-center). Supported formats are `.png`, `.jpg`, and `.jpeg`. A Postroll is a short video appended to the end of the Replay clip. Supported formats are `.mp4`, `.mov`, and `.webm`.
