## v26.17.5

**Templates & Repeating Events**

Using the Templates feature in conjunction with the Recurring Events feature, an Admin can now take an Event, turn it into a Template, and programmatically generate the same Event far into the future. This [demo video](https://www.loom.com/share/107dbae600b84307b178debe370eeede) showcases the two features together.

{% hint style="info" %}
If your environment has franchisee or location-specific Admin roles, these two features are not yet supported. We're working to formalize this in the coming weeks.
{% endhint %}

**Event Templates:** Take any existing Event and save it as a Template. When creating future Events, select from a dropdown of saved Templates and all pre-configured settings will be applied automatically.

**Recurring Events:** Create an Event on a recurring basis, similar to how you would in a calendar app.

**Pro-rated Membership Upgrades & Downgrades**

Customers can now move between Membership tiers with the following logic automatically applied.

**Upgrades** (moving to a higher-cost plan): The Customer is credited for the unused portion of their current billing cycle, that credit is applied toward the new plan's cost, and the new subscription starts today — resetting their anniversary date. Any Play Passes / Guest Passes from the previous plan are expired immediately and replaced with new passes reflecting the new anniversary date.

**Downgrades** (moving to a lower-cost plan): The Customer stays on their current plan through the end of their billing cycle — no refund is issued. On their anniversary date, they are moved to the lower tier and their perks update accordingly. Passes are unaffected for the current billing cycle and resume as normal on the next.

**Initiation Fees on Upgrades:** If the new Membership tier carries a higher initiation fee than the one previously paid, the Customer is charged only the difference. Example: Customer paid a $50 initiation fee on Membership A, then upgrades to Membership B with a $100 initiation fee — they are charged $50 at the time of upgrade. No time-based proration is applied to initiation fees.

**Initiation Fees on Downgrades:** No initiation fee is ever charged on a downgrade.

**Improvements**

* When the scoreboard is used, any customer who wants to capture a custom replay or an enhanced replay can now choose to purchase said replay by match.
* Moved event signup cancellation penalty for members from global to location settings.
* Allow for custom and enhanced replays to be captured by matches played (only if the scoreboard is used by players on the court).
* Updated a basic report in the analytics+ package to provide more data on the court quantity and court names, the day and time the customer booked/signed up/accepted an invitee, price paid by each customer, and the quantity of customers in the waitlist.

**Fixes**

* Fixed the background skipping days when opening a side panel on the overview page of the dashboard.
* Fixed cross contamination of user data based on a caching issue.
* Fixed a team signup bill splitting error on invite.
* Fix pro-rated membership updates when custom prices are involved.
* Fixed a bug for the coach toggle sometimes being locked.

## v26.16.9

**Event Page Improvements**

Several updates have been made to the Events page in the Dashboard `club_name.podplay.app/admin/v2/events` to make finding and managing Events easier.

* **List View:** A new "List" tab has been added alongside the “Calendar” tab at the top of the page, allowing you to search and browse Events outside of the current month's calendar format.
* **Search by**: Location, Event Name, Event types, Event Tags, Start and End Dates, Publishing status, which also meaning a new filter function for **Canceled & Suspended Events**. Cancelled and Suspended (Rainout) Events are now searchable. Attendee and Waitlist information remains visible on these Events.

**Membership Flag on Check-in Page**

If you are using the Check-in page of the Dashboard to manage Customer inflows to the Club, Membership flags will now show if a Customer’s Profile has an associated Membership.

**SELF-SERVE — the Company Settings Page**

A brand-new page is now available in the Dashboard for the Owner role. "Company Settings" marks the first step toward a more self-service experience. Over the coming months, we'll be rolling out additional configuration controls so you can manage your environment with greater flexibility and confidence. This page gives you the power to edit your live App, with all changes here directly affect your customers' experience. Be sure to take the Owner's Playbook course in the [PodPlay Academy](https://podplayacademy.thinkific.com/) before making changes.

**Improvements**

* Added a 75-minute buffer for settlement summary cutoff.
* Set the Go Viral feature as enabled by default.
* Moved the event signup cancellation penalty to the location settings.
* Added several new articles to the doc center.
* Connected replays to specific matches within the database.

**Fixes**

* Fixed an issue where one-time memberships was showing in the monthly membership section.
* Fixed an issue where the overview page was redicting to another date when cache not cleared for a long time.
* Fixed an issue where the rating gate was not saving to an event template.

**HAIKU**

## v26.15.4

**Package Grant button within a Profile**

<figure><img src="/files/Ks1LAgP3s2ycHm1K765I" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Admins can now re-grant a package of passes to a Member from within the Customer’s Profile. When a package is granted from within a Profile, all currently held passes within that package are deleted and new passes are provided.

**Enhanced Replays, PB Vision Integration**

**ONLY FOR PRO + AUTONOMOUS TIER**

<figure><img src="/files/lUbXhDPyEn5rHLJ3l9o0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

A new type of Replay which uses AI to evaluate a players performance, provide an estimated DUPR rating, trim videos into single rallies/points and many, many more player stats will be available for Customers to purchase. Similar to a Custom Replay, the Customers will have 48 hours to generate these Replays after their Reservation or Event has ended.

**Before we can set it up, we need pricing from you**. Please confirm your desired price for both Custom Replays and Enhanced Replays. Here are suggested prices and you can pick higher numbers: Custom Replay = $0.10/minute ($6.00/hr) & Enhanced Replay = $0.25/minute ($15.00/hr).

Keep in mind that Enhanced Replays has a processing cost of $0.15 so your club will get anything marked up over that price. You will not be able to charge less than the $0.15/minute floor price. Once you share with us your prices, we'll turn on Enhanced Replays, set your price, and your Customers can then begin (or you in the Dashboard) to capture them in the App.

Enhanced Replays take 45-90 minutes to process after which the user will get an email when it’s ready with a link to the PB Vision site.

No Login / separate account is needed to view the enhanced replay on the PB Vision site but if players want to track their performance over time across multiple sessions, they will need to create an account at PBVision.

{% hint style="warning" %}
It is important to make note of the exact start time of your matches so you can include it when ordering an enhanced replay as PB Vision sometimes cannot differentiate between warm-ups and the real match. We will soon be introducing the ability to order custom and enhanced replay by selecting your match instead of selecting a start time.
{% endhint %}

For More info, you can [read about the integration on the PodPlay Blog](https://podplay.app/blog/podplay-x-pb-vision-raising-the-ai-video-analysis-bar-for-pickleball-clubs) and [visit PBVision directly](https://pb.vision/).

**Deep Linking for Event dates**

You can now include a specific date in your Event deep links. Add `?date=YYYY-MM-DD` as a parameter to a URL to open the Event tab of the App directly to that day. *Currently, this update is only on the web app, the Android and Apple App updates are coming soon*. As an example: `https://[clubname].podplay.app/community/events?date=2026-04-22`

**Improvements**

* Added a backend enforcement of read-only API access for location-specific owners.
* Improved the guest modification preview with discounts.

**Fixes**

* Fixed a bug with package grants.
* Fixed an error on phone verification signup.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.podplay.app/support-and-troubleshooting/dashboard-support/changelog/2025.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
